Woah, accidental post! Sorry gents!
An Andre VanHeerden M36 interframe.
http://www.usualsuspect.net/forums/...e-Delta-Bravo-amp-Andre-VanHeerden&highlight=Nice one. In what materials?
I have a Andre Thorburn L51 on the way, shipping early next week.![]()
I went with the normal setup he does on the L51. I thought it was just perfect as it was. 3D CFhandles with CF-pocketclip and the two-toned filework on the liners.
Think i'll be happy anyways.![]()

Ti frame and CF inserts, i also have a Thorburn but i have a L36 and had him put a FFG on the blade, a first for him on a folder and i will be getting my small 36 next week M390 steel when he's in for blade.
Your going to love your Thorburn it's THE single smoothest knife i own.
And by the way that's an awesome Tobin you have there, iv'e got one with an m390 blade and i'm back on his books again and should be up at the end of June, going with bolsters myself this time.
Unfortunatley i cant watch the link, i do not have the permission. But i might have a clue how it looks.
Im on Andre Van heerdens books, but it was 18-24months waittime when i signed up, and that was a few months ago. So i have a long wait ahead.
Yes i think i will love it. Ive seen a few videos of it, and cant wait to feel the smoothness of it.![]()
Yeah, he surprised me with the pocketclip and backspacer, and they look awesome. The rest i choose myself, but he executed it very well.
did you go with the Sheepsfoot? I chose 3,5'' Blade. Just love his Sheepsfoot grind.Mine was S35V but i think that steel is good to.
My first one from Tobin I also went with a 3.5" but i think it's a little closer to 3 5/8" and my next one will be a little smaller maybe 3 3/8" blade and i think i'm going with the a modified Wharncliffe with a a swedge at the tip, similar to Blount's arrestor model.
Here's a pic of my first Tobin.
I found a link to the M36, it's the exact model i'm getting.
