We all have lost, traded or sold knives before, which one do you miss the most?

For me it was one of the first Spyderco /Goddard Collaborations, the biggest one with Micarta handles.

If I had the chance to do over again I'd have kept it. :( It was such a well made knife even though it was enormous it fit nice in my pocket, I loved the fit and finish on that knife.

This one by Bailey Bradshaw:

I sold it to a friend who lives nearby though, and I negotiated generous visitation rights. ;)

A stag handled German folding hunter that my grandmother had in the 50´s and 60´s, she gave it to me when I got out of college in 1974 and I lost it pretty soon after that.

I also miss a Buck 112 which I had for about 20 years and was stolen in 1995 and a 6 bladed Boker camper that I lost when moved to my new house in 1987.

My first real knife, a Buck 110 purchased in 1976. I gave it to my brother-in-law in the mid 80s, and it was stolen from him in 1989.

A Puma Hunters Pal I sold on but in hindsight I should have kept it as the current stock is not up to the previous standard.

I miss the Ontario/Bagwell Hell's Belle that I traded-off a few years ago...:(.

an old bayonnette blade my papa was using as a paint stirer, which I got at age 5 and by age 8 had bitter sharp, made a tape handel and carried it for 4 years befor it was lost.

I've sold a few that I wish I'd have kept. One's that immediately come to mind are some of my near mint Keen Kutters, and on a more modern note I should have kept at least one of the several Wegner Jr's I had...

The one I miss the most is the Darrel Ralph Vanguard EDC that I sold.

I miss an old throwing knife I found in my back yard. It was old and rusty, but it was my first fixed blade now that I think about it. Double edged, red handle, carbon steel, leather sheath...
::sigh::

A large Italian made faux pearl handled switchblade I carried as a teenager. It mysteriously vanished from my dresser. I honestly don't have clue what happened to it. Not the best knife I've ever owned by a long shot, but it was fun and had some sentimental value.

A Brooks damascus boot knife that was 3/16" thick

and...

A Black-handled ATS-34 folding knife made in Thailand by "Tin"....:(

More sentimental than "high-performance"....

Every knife my father threw in the local stream to keep me away from "weapons"!! Now i am a cop with an extensive arms collection :D

I sold my Woodard Fer De Lance to fund the purchase of a Microtech Scarab. To be honest, I didn't really care for the grind of the blade or the black coating, but the handle felt great, it locked up solid as a brick, and opened with the hardest *thwack* of any auto I've tried. If I ever come across a splash-handled mirror finished one, it's mine.

I recently got a new copy of the knife I missed the most. At geology field camp in Wyoming I lost my benchmade pinnacle in a bar (don't remember how  ) But it had been my EDC for about 4 years. Finally 2 years later I just picked one up off someone on knifeforums. It is a little different though as mine was plain edge and the new one is serrated. By the way I forgot to mention that the pinnacle is discontinued and that is why it took so long to replace. Nevertheless, I feel whole again. ;)
