What knife do you miss the most?

A gravity knife that I bought for $10 at a Hillbilly auction back in the 70's. After my dad passed away everything we owned was stolen by his so called "friends". :grumpy:

The Ka-bar I had when I was in the Marine Corps. My Gunnery Sergeant stole it from me! Really. We were on float when a buddy of mine cut his hand while sharpening one of his knives. The Colonel (who was on another ship, and in my opinion was a p*ssy) decided that all non-rates (e-3 and below) had to keep their knives in the ship's troop armory. I was just a lance-corporal at the time but I did not want to keep my knives in the troop armory. A box of knives had just been stolen from there. So, I asked a Corporal friend of mine to keep my knives for me. Well, anyway, one day the Gunny was walking through the NCO compartment and noticed an open locker. He looked in it and saw a Ka-bar with my name carved on the sheath. He took the knife and questioned us about it. He accepted my explanation about why my knife was not in the troop armory. He then told me to see him to get my knife when we got back to the states. When we got home we spent the rest of that day putting stuff away and then they gave us a 96 hour weekend. I did not get a chance to see the Gunny. When the 96 was over I found out that the Gunny had transferred to Camp Pendleton (I was at Camp Lejeune). He did not leave my knife. I have replaced my Ka-bar since then, but it is not the one I carried in the Marine Corps. It actually has a better sheath, with rivets instead of staples(!) like the one I had, but it isn't quite the same... :(

Gunny, if by some chance you happen to be reading this, I want my Ka-bar back!

I miss one I made for myself and then gave to my brother in law as a gift. I should have kept it. Made it out of D2. One of the first knives I made myself by stock removal. I even sent it off to Bob Dozier to heat treat for me and then gave it away on the spur of the momet without really thinking about it. Kicked myself ever since but what do you do? Needless to say my brother-in-was thrilled.
