What knife do you own that made you not buy others knives

I just got a Northwoods Forest Jack that puts every other slipjoint I've ever owned to shame. It didn't make me want to stop though. Now I want more Northwoods.

did you get this one with new blade form the forestJack?

1: DPx Heat is an awesome little folder, aside from a crk, hinderer or curtiss compact I am ok for a bit.
2: GEC #71 in 01. Cuts incredibly well, takes a great edge, holds it for a decent amount of time and takes on a great patina. I liked the orange delrin so much that I bought a black delrin and a maroon micarta version just to have some spares.

I could probably live happily for the rest of my life with a Gayle Bradley and a Dragonfly. I've yet to come up with any more functional, dependable, versatile or comfortable knives despite going on buying sprees of various brands of traditional folders, ZTs, Bucks and Benchmades. But the fact that those two knives remain the most useful I own does not prevent me from buying other types of knives... even though none of them measure up to the Gayle Bradley and Dragonfly in use.

I found exactly what Im looking for in a knife with Emersons. Thats all I buy anymore and I have no desire to buy any other brand.

Unless its a real bargain price, ive slowed down a lot lately. I also use my top 10 knives and see if what im looking at is as good as or better then them, and think if I would rather carry that one over what I already have. The high price on a lot of knives lately has also slowed me down, I just don't think its worth paying 400+ anymore unless its something real special.Trying to stay under 200 if I can...

Yeah I have reached the point of not buying any more knives. The last knife I bought was a Blind Horse Knife. It's a knife that I like very much. It isn't "the" perfect knife, but it along with the many others that I have bought satisfied my need (finally) for any more purchases. Have not bought a knife for close to six months, so I think I can claim victory against the lure of buying another one. Unfortunately I a war with several other distractions in my life, but that's another story.

I bought a Case Bose Tribal Spear and it ended my slipjoint search. I have not bought another slip joint in years.

Deering puukko is just what I need. Getting a backup but don't really feel the desire to get more knives. Just need to find the perfect axe now.
