What knife do you own that you would never part with?

One knife I could never give up is my Vic Tinker SAK. That was my first ever pocket knife, given to me by my Dad when I was 9 for going from cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. That knife means a lot to me, so much I usually don't carry it on me.

Non sentimental wise its a 3 way tie now that I got my Para-military2. Between the P2, Delica 4 and my Vic Climber SAK I just wouldn't be able to pick.

I don't see my self getting rid of my belt Winker Belt knife any time soon. It will probably out live me.

So who's finger is that on your keychain?

My Spyderco Barong, I sold one, and it took me a long time to find another one in new condition. I also wouldn't sell my Sebenza.

There are two I'll never give up. First is the sheath knife my uncle carried in WWII:

It is made of thin spring steel and is surprisingly well done. What surprises me is that the guard/blade joint is expertly fitted and soldered, so someone knew what they were doing. Clearly this is a hand made product but it carries no makers mark. The sheath is also very well done - heavy leather that is machine stitched.

The next one is my old Uncle Henry folder:

I've owned this for going on 30 years, and I have yet to find a better example of the stockman pattern. In terms of overall size, blade shape, fit and finish this knife has not been bettered. A true American classic from one of the great American knife manufacturers. This one I'll pass on to one of my grandkids.
