Weve all been in the situation where we need that extra dough. What knife did u find yourself parting with that you regret? For me I'd probably say the varga vbr, such a bangin knife.

28th commemorative mkIV by Chris Reeve that my deceased mother gifted me and like a broke pos sold (with her permission) years before she passed. Think I sold it for $700. If I could find the exact one Id pay 2k. Tried reaching out to the buyer several times but was ignored 🥲

Ooof that sucks

ZT 0620. Which I finally replaced this year with a NIB 0620CF. Coincidentally, it was my EDC knife today. 😀

Chris Reeve Aviator, made in South Africa. I sent it in to get it cleaned and sharpened, and Chris himself sent me it back with a hand written letter detailing the making date of the knife, and he included a little bit about moving from SA to Idaho.

Others include a Flight of the Intruder Bowie from Cold Steel (including the full movie kit) and more Busses than I can remember, including a very early Street made in A2 steel.

Please use this as a cautionary tale. Do NOT fall under the influence of drugs. The things you do to acquire more drugs may be more than you can live with (fortunately for me I learned to live with them rather than the alternative.)

The only one I can think of that I regret selling was my SK Knives 'Lil Jack. It was a special edition Buck 112 with a Bos-treated D2 flat grind blade, cocobolo scales, nickel silver bolsters and a light brown leather sheath. I was liquidating most of my 112 collection, but I'm sorry I didn't keep that one. Serbia is its new home. At least I can watch the video from time to time:
