I know there are gentlemen folders but how about something for the ladies?

My mother in law doesn't like knives too much and as an older business woman I know she wouldn't carry some pink or plastic handled knife in her purse.
Is there something small and classy possibly with engravings which looks more artsy and jewelryish than screaming KNIFE?
I am open for any suggestions.

Thank you for your help.

Kitchen knives was last time. Now something more pursenal. The SAK is good in size but still too plasticky looking.
Isn't there some kind of classy edc. Black gold combo, no idea. There have to be some experts here.
No whine and cheese yet. Please :)

What's your price range? On the less expensive end a spyderco dragonfly tattoo (has a colorful engraving on the handle) and on the more expensive side you could look at the william henry EDC series.

Thank you!
The dragonfly is cute, but the William Henrys are way cooler.
My price range would be $200 or less.

I just have 5 questions for you.

First question, does she like you?
Second question, is this really a good idea?
Third question, do you have any medical conditions or allergies that we should be aware of?
Forth question, what is the name and contact information for your emergency contact?

Lastly what's the price range, blade size, type of knife such as slipjoint/locking, etc you you thinking of?

EDITED IN:
I had my fun, so I guess I help now. Since it seems you like the SAK size take a look at the Canoe pattern knife it's very close to a full size 2 layer SAK both in exterior and blade dimensions. A pen knife or peanut would also be a good choice as well, neither of them intimating but quite versatile and can be had in various styles. A lot of traditional slipjoints can be quite classy, if this type of thing is what your looking for make a post on the traditional forum they are very helpful there.

Right now the Canoe and Pen knife are among my favorite traditional patterns, they are small and quite versatile and 99.99% will be more than capable of getting the job done.

Google sant fe stoneworks they do custom folders for the ladys . They just mite have something you like .

I'm on the search for a dress knife as well. I've been looking at Victorian Sterling silver both modern and antique. I've also been looking at scrimshaw and simple ivory with a damascus blade. So far I haven't "the one" but I'm enjoying the search. I hope you'll share a picture of what you ultimatly decide on.
