What knife have you put off getting for no "real" reason?

Hard to explain, but I think you knife nutz will understand! What knife do you want but haven't picked up, for no particular reason? For me, it's a Benchmade. Their knives are solid, they're all USA made (AFAIK), and their customer service is outstanding from what I've heard. Plus, their blade shapes really turn me on, especially their sheepsfoot style blades (Griptillian, Triage).

That all being said, I'm finally going to go pick up my first Benchmade tomorrow!

I reached the point where I don't currently see another knife I feel like I gotta have.:eek:I know that sounds crazy but it happened. I'll see how long it lasts with winter coming and more time stuck inside the house looking at knives.

Brace yourself Bludgeon, winter is coming. (Sorry I had to do it)

For me a couple SAKs, ZT 0566 though desire for that died down after I discovered traditions, a few kershaws/spydercos and for the most part that covers it. Oh and a benchmade mini griptilian but I don't want to pay the prices they are at now so it's unlikely it happen now.

I've been eyeballing various CRKs but haven't pulled the trigger. I've handled a few Sebenzas, large and small, but they just don't do it for me. I'd like to check out the Umnumm.

I've actually gotten into Benchmade a but recently..the more high end stuff. I love the 761 and 940-1. Even got my first auto, a 4300 CLA. I'm loving it.

Busse choppers. Should like them but I prefer hollow handles. They don't tout having thin edges, and that is a big turn off. Randalls are just as tough (see the Model 14 chopping concrete vs a Busse Sasquatch), and they do have thin edges as well...

Busse just seem in the same Mall Ninja category as Cold Steel, but I don't know why. Some videos show 17 ounces Trailmasters out-chopping 28 ounces Busses. That just isn't impressive, and I justify to myself not buying them on that basis.

BM Adamas. I want one, but I know I'll never carry it. Too big/heavy. Also a Caly 3.5. I like everything about it, but I can't do carbon fiber. It has forever been imprinted on my mind as cheap and tacky looking. I'm sure I'd be perfectly happy with either (or both), however, I can't do it. I simply can't.

Every knife I don't yet have!

Seriously, though...Spyderco Stretch and ESEE 6 have been on my list for ages, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

BRKT Fox River. It has been at the top of my list for a couple months, and I don't know why I don't have it yet.

The 2 I keep coming back to always wanting are the CRK Umnumzaan and the Emerson A-100. Something else always seems like a better buy at the time.

Generally higher end knives. Its usually as situation where despite the fact that I know in my heart I won't like it, I still want one. Ti framelocks come to mind. I love the look of the Lionsteel TiSpine but can't bring myself to buy one because I know I won't like it. There are even a few knives I've owned before and sold immediately, but want to try again (Spyderco Southard).

I traded for a Hoback A10 custom and a Curtiss F3 medium. I am not going to buy any more folders. I am going to get one really nice forged hunter and I will be done. Except for traditional customs lol.

Nice! I want an F3 pretty bad. I think I may be picking up a Brous VR-71 today.
