It's a work in progress as soon as I get some funds,I'm gonna send it to richardj for a proper sharpening & I still haven't decided on the washers yet.I'm torn between teflon, phosphor bronze or nylatron.

A nasty lady might be passing through town soon- so I went heavy today. Vic Explorer, Wenger Air Traveler (never leaves my keyes), Kershaw Junkyard Dog, Kershaw Scallion, 2AA Mini-Mag.

No matter what brand has the 'flavor of the week', I always find myself coming back to one of these -

It's always either a Benchmade 710/705, a Large Sebenza or one of my two Customs....a wharnie or a flipper I've got.

My newest knife is being carried today.
G10 BYRD Cara Cara...scary sharp out of the box, vault like lock up.The new G10 handles are awesome:thumbup:

I don't know what you do for a living/hobby, so you may well have genuine use for the 2 large knives, but isn't that a bit overkill otherwise? At least on a day to day basis. I'm not trying to be judgmental or whatever, but maybe you can clear this up for me :D

there is no such thing as "overkill" when it comes to busse knives.

I work in a plant operations office...anything from cutting thru some sheet metal with whatever is at hand, scraping and cleaning stuff and the random cardboard box. I usually dont have all three, most of the time it's a game warden and my gerber. At work I've had to use a busse ASH 1 to cut and scrape off/out part of a drain line in a ceiling....after crawling around for 20 minutes to find the thing, could be overkill but it worked and worked really well.

Ah, see I can understand your use for giant knives now! :D It's just that I personally never get into cutting much more than cardboard, plastic and similar things, thus I just carry 1 folder.

right now it's my beloved Kershaw Leek, anodized smoked red alum scales, liner lock. Tiny, light, sheeple friendly (as long as you don't pop the thing open like a switchblade!)
