Kaizen, I have to say, I'm kind of hating you right now after seeing that.

Those are both very nice knives. I've seen a few photos of that colour of Hinderer handle and it's far and away my favourite. Love that translucent, shadowy look.

Lucky bugger.

Is the other one an auto?

As long as it's a good kind of hatred, I appreciate it. The bottom picture is a Darrel Ralph Madd Maxx III and it's an assisted opener. I prefer manual over autos and AOs but I got a great frickin deal on it. I just got the Hinderer in the mail yesterday and that deal pretty much my last knife purchase for this year and probably the first half of next year.

I just recently moved from buying $150 knives to getting into these higher priced ones and the transistion was scary but worth it.
 
Yeah, that Hinderer is just beautiful. I would love to get my hands on something like that; how much did it cost you and how long did you have to wait for it, Kaizen1?

I bought it on these forums and I traded my Gen 3 XM-18 + $300 for it. Thanks for the comments:thumbup:

A lot easier to carry in the pocket than everyone says. I have no problem EDCing this I'm not big by any means (5' 9" and 145lbs).

Right now I'm carrying a TOPS Raven X that just came in yesterday, but I normally carry my Benchmade Snody auto. When I get the chance I'll post some pics of the Snody, B Hess, you'll be pleased to see that it's well used, maybe ready for retirement, but she's a tough old girl!
