what knife is this S&W a copy of?

No, the knife is made in Taiwan which to date is a free country. Mainland China is not. Some folks use the term "China" for both, I don't.
 
People throw around the term "copy" here quite loosely. I usually read it to mean - similar.
In this case that is a copy through and through.:barf:

I've EDC one of the larger Harsey air rangers on and off for a couple of years now.I can tell you that it's a great design,and its very well made.In fact,the only real problem I have with it is the steel used.The blade is made of aus-8,and although its an OK steel for most jobs,I really wish Gerber had used a better grade of steel.I just can't seem to keep a good edge with aus-8.But other than that,its a great knife for the money.
