Can anyone help me find which model knife this is that Chris Kyle is carrying?

Idk, by the shine on the scale I don't think its an Emerson. Also the screw pattern is not like the Emerson's I've seen.

Meh I could be wrong.
 
Can't call it on the blade, but I also didn't know that that particular rifle of his was a .223. I would have bet it was a larger caliber.
Edit: After a bit of searching that piece is actually a .308, built by GAP. I don't know why there is a box of .223 rounds laying about....

From what I've read he always had an Emerson, even in that movie the guy playing him had one
 
If it was an emerson the blade would be facing the back part of his pocket not the front. He is carrying righty tip down.
 
HK Benchmade? Couldn't be the Emersdon tool. It uses the pivot screw as the pocket clip screw.
 
From what i can see, its an older microtech ludt. It looks like the pocket clip has 2 screws and the top of the clip is slanted. Also the handle looks kind of 'p' shaped like a lud. Could be wrong though.

I think it's this. Also, the clip doesn't have the same contours commonly found on Emerson pocket clips.


 
I think we all know the answer. Its a DUK!!! I've heard around here that they are the best knives ever made, and I think I guy as serious as him would have carried one.
