She liked it! She wears it! She took it to the office and bragged about it!

For 30 years, she thought I was nuts.

Actually, she still thinks I'm nuts.

It has been a slow process. I showed it to some guys at work who were clueless about its real value. (One of them bought a Pakistani kris from the Home Shoping Network, for God's sake!) I explained that under the standards of the movie "Patton" only New Orleans pimps carry pearl-handled pistols. Jim says by that standard I qualify to be a New Orleans madam. Since I am a California lawyer, I guess it is a step up. It is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.
