I would bow down in thanks if Camillus would put out a 4 - 4.5" spear point max (not a dagger). That is a knife I'd LOVE to have but sure as hell can't put out the $550 it would cost for a custom version. The MAXX is a wonderfully stout framelock which is great for EDC, especially if it were in a smaller format.
A bigger Ti framed EDC would go straight to the top of my to buy list, seriously. I know the Dominator sort of fills this role, but I love the blade and the handle of the EDC. It's the consumate EDC; non threatening and totally functional. The clip blows away the competition too; I find most clips to be afterthoughts in the design while the EDC's flows perfectly with the rest of the knife. S30V would be an excellent addition as well.
I agree that a 3.5 to 4" EDC, maybe with a blade material choice, D-2, CM154, S30V, etc! Also I'd recommend torx screws heads so tightening would not wear as bad as hex heads.
An upgraded EDC would be wonderful. First a 3" S30V or D2 All-TI EDC, after that a 3,5" or 4" version with the same ingredients. That would be one of the knives on my most-wanted list.
I'd like to see an EDC with blade and scales the thickness of the Maxx with a flat ground recurve bowie blade.
I find the quality of my Maxx to be equal to a Sebenza at one third the cost (I've had two Sebenzas). However, the Maxx is too large for use in public.
8 1/2 Searles style bowie
4" D-2/S30v/BG-42 EDC
8 1/2" CQB-1,but reverse the handle taper so it gets wider at the pommel rather than the other way around.
