My knife collection is beginning to come together, im a big fan of benchmades and spydercos. My collection consists of a griptillian, 275 adamas, 810 contego, delica 4, tenacious, and paramilitary 2. I'd like to add some more knives but im not sure what knife to get. What other essential knives should i have in my collection without spending over 250$. And no bigger than a 4 inch blade.

I say get a small knife to add to your mostly large folder collection. Maybe a Spyderco Dragonfly salt, Spyderco Air, etc.. If you're into larger folders, a Manix 2 XL for less than $100 is a steal.

I'm in love with my Dragonfly 2: highly recommended.

I'm also a big fan of Zero Tolerance. Tremendous quality. I would recommend an 0350 or 0566.

Also, I don't have one but I think it looks like a great, unique option: spyderco techno.

Happy hunting and let us know what else you add!

Before getting any more knives, maybe you should invest in some quality sharpening implements. The Edge Pro Apex 4 is great and goes for around $250.

Benchmade 940/940-1
ZT 301
Spyderco Manix

You have a decent amount of folders so don't forget fixed blades. I ended up buying alot of folders and am in need of some decent fixed blades now. You have a decent amount of folders

I am a big Spyderco nut, but I think that you should have a good basic Benchmade 710 in D2. I've had a couple; I have one now in M390. The model 710 is a real classic, in any blade-steel.

Dragonfly is nice or a traditional. I've been a spyderco guy forever, but now started carrying a GEC too.

You have plenty of tactical knives I vote you need a multitool. A Victorinix Timker compliments a Benchmade very nicely. The screwdrivers come in handy often and the Victorinox can be used in front of coworkers in the office without raising an eyebrow.

Great Collection so far! I would suggest a ZT be next since that seems to be missing. Definitely consider an 808, 452, 801 and 562!

On the chunkier side:
Manix XL
ZT0562
Barrage 581

On the lighter side:
940/940-1
Sage 1
0770

And you need a military :)

After being a Spyderco and Kershaw junkie for years I recently purchased 3 folders from other makers and am loving it. I picked up a Lionsteel SR1a in D2, Boker Nano in Vg10 and Dpx Heat in D2. All are awesome but the Para2 or Southard make it into my pockets every once in a while.
If ya want and can afford to take the addiction to the next level, check out other makers ; )

Agree with BM 710 (a classic ) Might check out one of the Stretches from Spyderco. ( won't leave your pocket).perhaps an Endura or the Pacific Salt

This thread needs pictures! You can't effectively enable someone to compulsively buy knives without pictures
;)

Consider adding some pics of my favorite knives officially on my to do list for tomorrow.
