What Knife or Knives brought you here ?

When I turned 18, I immediately bought the biggest, blackest, baddest, toughest tanto death folder I could find, which at the time, was a Cold Steel Recon1. Obviously, I needed a place to talk about how cool it was.
 
My own hand made knife funnily enough. I had just started forging blades and wanted a place to show them off, then I stumbled in to the traditionals forum and my wallet and my wife have hated me for it ever since.
 
Mine was after a friend accidentally cut me on the hand with a Super CQC7. Took me to get stitches, I bought a CQC8 the next day.

Couple of days later he told me there were "knife forums" online so I Googled just that and voila!, been hooked ever since.

It started my knife collection of 60 plus over a couple of years, and I'm on here numerous times a day, been that way for quite a few months now.
 
Emerson CQC-7. Saw it, loved it, discovered a whole world of controversy here, signed up to ask about his knives.

Still saving up to buy the damn thing.....
 
For me it was researching a pm2 and delica, I ended up buying a zt 350 but I will probably go back and buy those two still. Either way the forum has been super helpful love it
 
Through a Kabar Tanto, I eventually found the BK2. Then I found the Becker subforum, those raunchy jerks. :)
