What knife roll....

I live in a rural area far from any knife shops. I'm looking for a knife roll to store my drawer-full of folding knives (20 or so) which includes various sizes from small pen knives to large (4 1/2) folders.

Can someone recommend a product they've had good luck with that works well with a variety of knife sizes?

Thanks,

I have the Spyderco Spyderpac that holds 32 knives. They also have a smaller version that holds 16. Clear pockets so you can see the knives too.

I have the "sak ups" available from SMKW. One with larger pockets for folding hunters and one with smaller pockets for pocketknives.

Most of my knives are kept in the original boxes, but it's easy to accumulate a pile of loose ones over the years.

Good Luck,
-Bob

If you can't find a dedicated knife roll, what about a mechanic's tool roll for wrenches?

I use a artist's paintbrush roll.
It has pockets of various sizes and works reasonable well.
You can get them at a local arts and crafts type of shop.

Thanks very much for the recommendations, gentlemen. For my intended use, I think I may go with the Sack-Ups. I use them for long arms and handguns already. I wonder why the ones for knives are cotton instead of non-absorbent synthetic like the firearms versions?

Thanks again for the help,

My wife sews. A knife-roll for my expanding collection would be a perfect gift she could make me for Christmas, etc. Does anyone have a pattern or plan or drawing of a good knife roll, primarily for tactical folders but some slippies and SAKs?
