Didn't sell this one, but gave it away to my oldest step-daughter when she got
her Masters certification in Pathfinders.
Wouldn't be right for the instructor to have a crappier knife than the students.
She needed a good knife, and the F1 is a great knife.
I stripped the finish off of the blade before I gave it to her.
I really liked this knife, but I know it is in great hands.
I regret selling and trading the two spyderco military's that I had. I liked the plain jane S30V satin finish one that I had. Great knife, simple and lightweight. Very pocket friendly.
Never sold a knife in my life. Given many away. Lost a few... Has anyone seen my Sharpfinger? It went walkin' 15 years ago while we were coon hunting...
I just sold a few on the forums and regret selling all of them a lil bit. But they were not getting the use, so hopefully the new owner will show them more love than I.
My BK9!! and my FAllkniven F1 and H1...I really regreted selling the H1, so I bought 2...I guess this falls under the knife that you need a spare of....Honestly, I regret most of the knives I sold..I would have kept them all if I had the money to buy as many as I want...I usually sell one to buy one.
When Framar's first got started over here in the UK they were the only source of custom knives and it was around the time of the Rambo films. I managed to own a Lile First Blood and Rambo knife when he was alive and just prior to his death I sold them. They were hugely expensive back then but have still managed to increase in value considerably since.
Suprisingly they are amazingly light for their size and handle excellently. They were a bit beyond my means back then and I traded them for a minor profit. The Rambo model is still the most expensive knife I have ever bought.....I think I paid around £800.....I cannot be sure....but I remember I had to use a three year credit agreement...LOL!
