What knife(s) would you recommend that would add up to 70 dollars?

I am not being specific on what type, I just want to see some new ideas and want to see what people buying. I was thinking about buying the cold steel tiger claw, but not sure. Any recommendations on the tiger or any other kerambit? BTW the knife you recommend doesn't really have to be a tactical blade, just any you like, that would add up to around 70 bucks. Don't be afraid to suggest folders, neck knives, etc. Thanks.

For around 70 bucks I would try and find a Manix2, Endura, maybe a Tasman or Pacific Salt (full serrated), Cold Steel Voyager (any size/shape), Recon 1, American Lawman, maybe a Lone Star Hunter... a lot of nice knives from Kershaw in that price range but I don't like A/O and they ALL HAVE IT... maybe an Echelon if I could find one... Cryo II when it comes out... maybe a Buck Vantage Pro or Spyderco Native S30V as well.

For about 60$ delivered you can have a Spyderco Endura 4 FFG VG-10 Blade, it will be the best 60$ you ever spent...

Tasman and recon 1 look like some badass knives. I was already considering the recon 1. Also the mini grip doesn't look too bad either.

I would also add the Spyderhawk (fully serrated) if you can find one... it's disco'd now but they were being sold for about 75 last time I checked. If you get anything in H1 steel my opinion is that it's worth getting it fully serrated, since serrated H1 has incredible edge-holding.

Kershaw Cryo + Alox Cadet
Case Sway Back Jack

Well those are on MY wishlist so I figured I may as well post them... :)

If I was in the market Id get a Kershaw JYD II composite blade with a D2 cutting edge. Its a good sized knife, with the flipper and g10 scales not A/O but can adjust the pivot to open with a wrist flick. Or Id get the S30V Kershaw Blur, A/O, thumb studs, a great knife for sure.

The bottom pic of the closed Blur is wrong, dont know why they did it like that. Wrong inserts in handle and the top of the blade doesnt have that shape. Top two pics are good. Just noticed

Wait- so are you just looking for one knife, or do you want to buy a knife "sampler," of sorts? The impression that I got from your post was that you wanted to try out as many different styles of knife as possible, in order to find out what you do and don't like.

Well, i am a big fan of clip point bowies, but i was wondering what other kinds of knives are out there that i could buy to try. Yes i want to try some different styles, but i still want to buy something decent. I was looking mostly for smaller blades, since i already have a big knife (ontario sp10 marine raider).

id but a couple Moras and put em where you think ya might need em. glovebox, bob, etc...

I have been also looking at the ontario sp2 airforce, since i am a big fan of ontario, and i like the size of it. good knife anyone? or what about the kabar mark 1 navy?

Got it! I'd recommend:
-Mora Clipper/Companion
-Ontario RAT 1
-Kershaw Drone/Asset/Chill
-CRKT Minimalist
They're all good quality, and represent a variety of different styles. But, it would definitely help if you told me/us what knives you already have. Do you only have large Bowies, or do you have a few folders as well? If you do, then you could probably take the RAT off the list and replace it with something else. And if you happen to already own a few assisted knives, you could forget about the Kershaws, too. And do you have any SAKs or multitools? I kind of assumed you did; everyone's got a few SAKs, and most people have a Leatherman-style multitool lying around. But if you don't, then definitely get one of each.
I don't really know much about either the Ontario or the Ka-Bar you were talking about, but just from a quick glance, I'd go with the Mark 1. Serrations on the cutting edge of a knife are bad enough, I don't see why companies keep feeling obliged to put them on the spine.
