What knife storage cases do you guys use?

I have been using a Pelican case and tuffcoat for for the past five years in Florida where the salt air will rust just about anything. No problems what so ever, other than you need a big safe. Just my $0.02.
 
I use the 13"X15"X21" plastic fliptop lockable boxes you can buy at Walmart or Costco
for my Busse knives,The knives in the ship from Busse cardboard boxes,,,then into the lockable fliptop plastic, and old Smith and Wesson wood pistol boxes for my folders.
 
Here is an inexpensive alternative: Rick Frigault's Cases - I have no experience with these, but the price is very attractive. I would guess they are foam padded, and while foam does deteriorate over time, it takes at least about 10 years to happen (the time might vary depending on the environment they are stored in). I would not worry about a knife rusting in a foam padded case if the bare steel is coated with wax or grease, especially if it is stored in a humidity-controlled environment.
