I saw the Boker Subclaw so many times in the big EDC thread that I picked one up. I love the curved blade for cutting that plastic bubble packaging that everything seems to be shipped in these days.
I used a Cold Steel Braveheart cutting the paper and tape used to wrap the Christmas presents ...its sharp needle point was great cutting 24inch lengths of paper in seconds compared to minutes if I'd used scissors.
I got an original Boker Subcom in my stocking from my girlfriend, so I had something sharp, pointy, and sheeple-friendly to use in front of my little cousins today!
I took a Rough Rider Canoe pattern with me to my stepdaughter's for the family Christmas. Her 3 year old knows to go to grandpa if a Knife is needed to open packages or cut ties.
