What knife would u buy if you are allowed to buy only 1 knife for the next 1 year?

Lets say your mum/girlfriend/wife says that u are only allowed to buy only 1 knife - which one? - This is to see which knife you would have if there is only 1 you can choose.

So choose wisely.

Hows this hard? I haven't bought a knife in a year... I've made about 10 though.

I guess if I had to buy one and be happy with just it for a while, I'd look into a BM 710, would have to handle it first though. I didn't like the 705.Spyderco has some really cool looking stuff too though.

This is exactly why I have to learn to make knives!! :D


I can't go a month without at least getting one or two, Even if they are Columbia River's. I just have a sadness inside that can only be cured with new steel! :)
 
The reason why I am asking this -- too much of a good thing make everything same. You will appreciate if there is only 1 that u can have in order to enjoy the longest.

There are some knife nuts out there which buy a lot of knife at a go, but how to appreciate the knife if you have so many Candy/knife in front of you to the full extend.

What I do is once I get a knife, I clean it, play with it and put it in the display case. Now I carry an EDC for a month straight, Just that same one, then put it in the case and pull another out. This way they all get their special time and I get to know them very well :)
 
get rid of your wife/girlfriend/mother// start all over again and get more knives.. don't be wimp.. :p
