What knife would you choose?

Para 3 all day out of the 2. Man there are so many options out there though. I'd see what other suggestions you can get. I think hhmoore hhmoore suggestion is a really good one. The Deka is pretty awesome, and I'd take it over both.

Question from a noobie 😅

My Para 3 LW opens really hard.
It gets stuck or something.

When I push the lock in. The blade has all the room to open en close. But when I open it normally with a “flick” or even with my thumb slowly. It seems to get stuck.

I turned the screw a bit loose, but didn’t help at all.
I have the idea that the lock is to “stiff” / hard.

Do other people have this issue? I’m gonna clean it today. Or people must say that it’s not normal that the lock is so tight. Then the blade is going back.

Had it for a while and it went back to the shop.

It’s not my knive.

Gonna look for a normal PM2/3.

I see your dilemma. Both solid quality knives of solid quality steel. I'd say PM3 simply because of the aftermarket support for upgrading and customizing later, should you choose to.

My old EDC was a Civivi Elementel. Great knife but I wanted something different with better steel.
You never said what steel your Civivi Elementum has. If it is 14C28N, you cannot do much better than that, except maybe Magnacut. There are other steels that are different but not better. For example, you could get a Para 3 with S110V, which has better edge retention but worse toughness.

If you told us what sorts of things you plan to be cutting a lot, we could offer better informed opinions.

And a Para 3 should flick open very easily with thumb or finger.

The Kizer Cyber Blade does not look very practical.
Oh, I want one of those! But I do not want to pay any money for it. :)

The Spyderco Para3 would be my choice of knife, but the compression locks are a bit pinchy for most people's idea of being fidget friendly. On the Kizer side I'd go with either the Gemini or the Mini Sheepdog.

Off the board you could also get a Benchmade Griptilian (or mini version if you need it to be tinier). The Griptilian was my first Benchmade knife and it's definitely designed from a user point of view.

Currently looking at Kansept Warrior and Spartan Talos. WeKnife Banter was solid with nice action but didn’t fit my hand and the wood scales were slippery.

Not sure how folks in the Netherlands feel about such things, but the simple fact that the Kizer is made in China and the Para3 is made in USA, apples to apples, that would be enough for me. But I'm also American, so bias aside; BD1N is a great edc steel. Easy to maintain, sharpens well, etc. Performs very similar to 14c28n, with a bit better edge performance, though not quite as tough, (which in a knife that small won't much matter).
Kizer makes a solid knife and has been making a name for themselves in the knife market, but company v. company, they are nowhere near close to being on par with Spyderco as yet. Spyderco has built their reputation as an industry leader for good reason. And this all coming from someone who is not a "spyderco fanboy". Roughly 75-100 pocket knives I own, 2 are spyderco, but it's personal aesthetics and not build quality that turns me away... (I owned one Kizer, very well built, zero pride in ownership, gifted it to a friend who carried a crappy gas station Knife.)

Plus, aside from coming from a more reputable company, the Para 3 is an actual small knife with a 3" blade profile, built with a solid compression lock system.
The Kizer is a tiny 2" sharpened prybar, with a liner lock. Now I don't hate liner locks, in full hand, but at 2" it certainly wouldn't be my 1st choice. Also at 2" you really aren't utilizing or gaining any advantage over the steel type. You're simply paying for it. If I'm being completely honest, the cyberknife looks like something the company came up with to make a profit with what left over scraps they had lying around the shop. The Para3 is a smaller scaled, but still designed knife.

Spyderco does have a pretty solid warranty program. If it was sticking, you could contact them to correct it.
