What knives are permanently in your EDC rotation?

Mine is the small Sebenza. Just got it back from getting a polishing and CRK did an EXCELLENT job!

Work:

-CRKT KFF Professional Small plain edge(PE)
-CRKT Pointguard Small PE
-Spyderco Delica II PE

Off work:

-Benchmade AFCK 50/50(old model)
-REKAT Carnivore Black-T PE
-Spyderco Endura II PE

My EDCs that fall into the category of being indispensable are an SS/PE Spydie Rookie, G-10/PE Spydie Centofante, Spydie Herbst PE and Spydie Mouse. I am awaiting my first Benchmade 330 in PE that will probably work it's way into the rotation and I'm planning to go to a gun/knife show this weekend and plan to pick up three or four more knives so this all may change next week.

Let's see...

I always carry;

a Spyderco(Military PE or CE, Endura SE, Blue Rescue SE, Rescue Jr. SE)
Buck 110
Leatherman SuperTool 200
Leatherman Micra

Lately, it's been some combination of the Spyderco Ronin; RJ Martin Kozuka, Mayo TNT and Gryphon M-10; sprinkled with an occasional Falkniven WM-1.

We'll see what happens to that set when the RJ Martin Wasabi and Phill Hartsfield Kozuka shows up within the coming week or so. Something's going to get bumped, I can imagine.

My two that never leave my rotation are a Carson large M16 carbon fiber scales, ti bolsters, and satin finished stellite blade and a Carson custom hawkbill with blasted ti handles, liners, and stellite blade. I always have at least one of these on me at all times. Amazing knives they are.

My main EDC since last summer has been a Mike Obenauf Mini Model 2 with an S30V blade and carbon fiber scales. It is a great small knife witha stout frame that is wonderful for everyday tasks in environment where bigger knives would not be accepted. It kind of takes the place of my older Andre de Villiers Exectac Spearpoint. Lately, a factory knife has been winning me over. I really like my plain edged BM 921. It is feather lite and the axis lock is so smooth and easy to operate. I like the wharncliffe blade and the smaller blade is good opeing mail or cleaning nails. The only down side to the 921 is that it is a bit longer than I generally like for EDC. Still, I think that the 921 is great, and I hope that BM makes a version with carbon fiber scales.

Leatherman Squirt
Al Mar S2K
Greco Companion
Rinaldi LEO

the Squirt and at least one of the others listed are ALWAYS on me.

I generally will carry a Microtech Socom Elite, plain edge, clip point everyone I can. When I need something smaller to be PC like at work, I turn to my Benchmade 941D2CF. The D2 cuts like a demon and the carbon fiber and Axis lock finish out the package.

If I've had to fly, hopefully my plain edge Japanese Vapor is still in my baggage and will be my EDC until I return home.

There's also usually a Micra in my pocket and a Wave in my briefcase.

"Variety is the spice of life." I have about 10 knives that I pick from, including two small fixed blades. I try not to carry the same knife more than once a week, unless there is reason. I pick the knife based upon what I'm planning to do that day. I'll switch knives during the day, just for something different, or to match anything new I might be doing.

First, "Rotation" of a lot of knives is something I've avoided for some time now since I consider my EDC as a self defense implement as well as an edged tool. I truly believe that for SD you need to develop mind muscle memory to assure you can react under stress.

That said, here's what I carry:

Work (knives are not discouraged but there are a lot of sheeple):
BM 940 or BM 940 D2CF

Evenings, around the house, and "formal wear":
Microtech Amphibian, if I could only have one knife this would be it

Weekend and whenever going some place new:
Microtech Amphibian inside waistband just forward of right hip
Camillus Maxx inside waistband just behind right hip
Spyderco Civilian inside waistband jusr forward of left hip (cross draw)

The "logic" is if I need to respond quickly and for all utility needs I'll go for the Amphibian

If there is a need, I can't retreat, and I have time, the "big guns" come out. I'm hoping a Maxx in the right hand and a Civilian in the left will stop the problem before contact.

I have a bunch of knives and multitools that I rotate for EDC, but a Sebenza (large or small depends on where I'll be that day and what I'll be doing) is pretty much a constant.

Spyderco plain-edged G-10 Police
CRKT plain-edged Gray Ghost Mirage
CRKT plain-edged BladeLock

Gerber Compact Sport
Leatherman Squirt S4
Victorinox Cadet

And at work: Spyderco serrated Delica

Good luck,
Allen.

The two that are always in my rotation are my DDR Bullnose Maxx and my BM 942 and they show it. The other 3-4 knives that I carry daily rotate constantly, although I thought my Mayofied Sebbie would earn a permanent spot but I can't bring myself to abuse it. Just got a Lg Model 1 Obenauf that might make permanent status but that remains to be seen.
