What knives are you guys looking at?

The action on the Sheepdogs is fantastic. Ergo's are great too. I have the Bowie version.

I think the bowie Sheepdog is the knife I've came so close to buying more than any other. I almost buy one about once a month then decide against it haha

I'm in a bit of a quandry. I have a decent knife I'm going to put up for sale soon and I hope it will fund a grail...trouble is, I have three I'm looking at! A ZT 804; a Begg Steelcraft Kwaiken; or a Brous Vendetta. I have enough ZTs (including a 452 which I think is fairly close to the size and action of the 804) and I have a couple Brous, too, so I'm leaning towards the Kwaiken, BUT the Brous is cheaper and something about the blade shape on the Vendetta really hits all my nerve endings - plus he has them on sale on his site.

Any suggestions from anyone who has both?

Well I spent tonight looking at Spyderco Nirvanas...

Aaaaaaand then I bought one haha

Just ordered a Rat 1 in D2 with orange handles a few minutes ago. I only bought 3 knives in 2016 and I want to thin the herd but a Rat 1 in D2 for $41 shipped? I couldn't resist. :p

I have just received my spyderco delica 4 zdp-189, not used it yet- only the old paper test, and it cuts cleanly. Looks a good solid knife, only time will tell. I'm looking to buy the spyderco wolfspyder- I haven't seen many reviews on this yet. And finally a new leatherman charge tti.

I require a Clink Pick.
I really want an Emerson framelock.

There are so many knives I want. I have to consider the ones I really want because I could never afford to buy em all. There are some knives I can't even bring myself to buy, too expensive. I'm glad after years of collecting I finally know what I like. It makes it easier to not feel like I need everything. (greedy greedy)

I am still quite happy with Spydiechef, but guess it doesn’t cost any just to look at others.

I just got a Skaha and a MacWasil front flipper. All I can say is get both, you won't regret it!

Thanks for the heads-up. I am actually waiting for Vaclav to finish a knife for me and really looking forward to handling it.
For Skaha, can you tell us more about it?

Please post pics of the knife Vaclav makes for you. I was blown away when I got mine. The details, fit and finish are unbelievable. For example he added filework to the INSIDE of the backspacer. I've been meaning to takes some pics when I can get the lighting right to do it justice.

I started writing about the Skaha and it got a little out of hand so I made a separate thread here.

Grapeshot,

You have a great writeup in that thread. I was concerned with the CNC milled patterns on the blade, as they seem pretty deep. But you have taken out that for me.
Skaha seems to be an attractive flipper knife very reasonably priced. I will definitely grab one when it is available again.
And yes. Please post pictures of yours when you are ready.
