What knives are you hoping to find second hand?

I prefer used. In fact I have not bought new is over a year.

I really want to find a well loved GEC 33 Whittler and a GEC crownlifter with clip main.

Always on the hunt for Winchester .270 Cartridge Series knives. The holes in the collection are getting harder to fill due to scarcity or affordability.

The neighbors are having a yardsale and the let me have an old leather martini sheath, but they're still going through their garage I guess so I'm hoping they find the knife that goes in it :D
I'll check back tomorrow and if they do find it I'll offer them a buck for it.

Fantastic, good luck.
What's the size of the sheath?

My collection would be complete if only I could get a lick creek #38 smooth bone. Got all the other examples of farmer jack sfo's.
My user is a maroon micarta but I prefer the all steel ones looks. Really admire the pattern in general.

It's a fun topic to ponder. Probably no surprise, but my top three are all whittlers:

1. GEC Tidioute #38 Grinling Whittler
2. Northwoods Norfolk Whittler
3. Winchester 3971 Black Box Whittler

Fantastic, good luck.

It's 9" long including that little tail on the end.
Sadly I had no luck as there were no other knives besides the one cheapo stainless kitchen knives that weren't there yesterday.
They're a distant relatives in some way, so maybe they keep me in mind if they find it.

They made/make fillet knives that come with a leather sheath. Does it look like this? They came with and without the flourish on the end, and with or without tooling.

I figured it went to a J martini fillet knife, and yes it's identical to that sheath.
I've been wanting to get one of their rapala branded fillet knives from Walmart for quite a while but have always found other things I needed more for 14$, especially as I don't get fish as often as I'd like to.

My friends father has one and it's pretty good for the money. Think of it like the Mora/Svord/Opinel of fillet knives.
Not a lot to it, but a pretty good bargain with a decent steel for what you need it to do.

According to my dad my grandfather owned one (he distinctly remembers the tail on the end of the sheath ) so I may have to pick one up since his is long gone.
