what knives did you get this year?

I've bought basically nothing but Busse this year. This is my list-

I think that covers it. Only other one I can think of is a Bark River clip-point Golok, and maybe a few ESEEs...And of course I have a good 10-15 Busse knives I'm looking at, but have to decide on which to buy...

Plus a few folders and a few Esee (Esees are long gone) that aren't worth mentioning. It's funny that last year my only Busse was my DSSF that now belongs to a swamp monster in Yosemite. I'm going to be thinning this collection down to pure users. True keepers are my TTKZ, Waki, M9LE, maybe a 1311, and maybe my custom Boss Jack. I can't bring myself to use the Boss Jack though because it's so purdy so it might go one day. Just got my hands on the NMFBM and I'm liking it so it might stay as well.
 
I just pulled the trigger on a Daniel Winkler Sayoc RnD hawk... add that to the list now

Edit: Oh yeah, I was re-gifted the CG Boss Jack that I gave to a friend a year or two ago. I've been giving him a lot of grief for never using it, and he gave it back saying he couldn't bring himself to use it knowing how expensive it was. I gave him my Paul Chen Practical Plus katana as a "trade".

This was a slow year for me, a TGLB in black with black canvas, I got an ASH back that I had traded away, and a Heavy (Active) Duty..

Non Busse standouts would be an incredibly beautiful Tony Bose Zulu Spear slipjoint with Don Hanson III Damascus & pre-ban ivory...after a poaching incident at BLADE where some...person (:grumpy:) walked off with my lottery score.
A very sweet Jared Oeser ZS Shadow that spends a lot of time in my pocket.
A few awesome Mosier/Lhotak collab Uolcos flippers (Tactical & Fancy set).
And a beefy one of 12(?) Bharucha/Terzuola Legacy folder, my first Terzuola.

I'm probably forgetting quite a few sweet knives, but it was a good year overall. :)
 
Wow Jaxx those are super nice. You have had a great year it sounds like. Very very nice off duty protos!
 
Some of these newcomers look pretty impressive until an UBER HOG like Jaxx causally mentions a few recent acquisitions and makes the vast majority of the rest of us look like the tiny little piglets that we are by comparison. Most impressive as always, Jaxx.

Post Script: None. Waiting for Jerry to offer choil-less options on blades where no choil makes more sense to me. Really, Jerry? ASHBM with choil/no-choil option but elf choil only for the AMS? I'd have bought at least two AMS CG and probably an LE or two if they were available with no choil. No such luck. PS
 
Alas I am poor lol...but man I tell ya if I win the lotto you better watch out..lol. just curious and if its too personal don't answer but what's your knife budgets? Yearly speaking....clearly in the thousands.
