Got my first Benchmade today. A model 745, Two days ago I got a Leatherman Wave, and a month and a half ago I got an Ontario TAK-1. Life is good.

Got it today. YES. I know the deal with M. Strider.....Probably won't buy another one from "the Fraud" for that reason. It's a brute, and I bought it for that reason. Since Iraq/The Stan are unforgiving on crappola specials :D
 
Picked up a Kershaw Leek for $10 at Walmart! Hard to turn down a knife at that price. :D

I picked up a Spyderco Para Military today, and I think I'm going to pick up a Buck Hartsook over the weekend. It's been too long since I bought a knife, needed a quick fix.

It was the 1660ST. Stainless with the partially serrated blade.

They had a bunch of various knives that must have been around for a while somewhere. The boxes were beat up on some of them. They had just moved them out to a shelf and marked them way down. Regular price was $42 I think? Marked down to $20 and rang up as $10.

I believe most of them were boxed knives that were being replaced with the plastic sealed packaging.
 
Only if I could have, but today has been a very bad day indeed, not one knife ordered or purchased, I feel bad about letting the sellers down.:grumpy:

Today I purchased a Case Sodbuster Jr at a Lowes. $17.95, thought it was a good buy compared for online store price plus shipping. Very sharp out of the package.
