Hey Crayola,Why not just make a extra knife to carry yourself and take the money from the other knives and buy some supplies or equipment
You really should carry one of your own for two reasons:
1) This is a great way to test your knives yourself and if it tears up or fails you will know what you have to work on ,and you will know who to throw it at to fix it
2)If you are carrying one of your own and you start talking to someone about knives you can always show them your using knife if you don't have anything else with you, this lets people know that you use what you make and arent afraid to use it hard (carrying someone elses knife when you make knives doesn't sound like you are proud of your own work...Think about it)
Actually there is a #3
3) I have sold more knives off my hip when I first started than I can remember,It was like as soon as I said this is mine and put it on my hip that was how soon someone else wanted it.I have had customers at gun shows say that they liked to buy the makers carry knife as they knew it had to be good or he wouldn't be carrying it..Go figure, they are usualy ones that have a bad flaw somewhere but the blade is still great..
Just something to think about,You got to advertise...and if it is on your hip or in your pocket people will always see it and remember that they wanted one of your knives..
