What knives do you carry with your Spyderco?

A hawkbill dragonfly is the only Spyderco I carry, and it doesn't get out that much anymore. It's a fun knife, but not very practical for my use, so I carry something else to actually cut things.

It's usually the other way around and when it happens, it's usually a Dragonfly in addition to a primary carry.

I don't count myself a multiple knife guy. I often carry a multi-tool. It sometimes has a knife blade but I really don't count it as "a knife". A Dragonfly lives in a jacket pocket so when jacket weather adds extra equipment slots, it just happens to be there. Like the multi-tool blade, I often forget that it is there. 😮

The main exception is when I'm carrying a fixed blade as my primary EDC. Then I'll intentionally grab the Dragonfly. For instance, this was my EDC pic from a few days ago.

I always have a fixed blade along with my folders. If I only have one knife on me it will be a fixed blade. I have several Spyderco knives but only three of them get carried these days.

I have a serrated Dragonfly in H1 that I keep in my shoulder bag that goes everywhere with me, along with an ESEE Candiru in that same bag. They are strictly backups and I don’t remember any time that I’ve really used them.

I carry the Chaparral a lot and I carry the UKPK when I’m working in wet or very hot temperatures because it’s the Lc200n version. Both of those are always accompanied by a fixed blade. For the past 5-6 months it’s been an Izula. That may change to a Becker or LT Wright from time to time though.
