What knives do you plan on still buying this year

Just starting to try some carbon steel knives, and I'm looking at the following as future purchases:

HI Kukri (Ang Kola or Siraputi...are the Siraputis as strong as the Ang Kolas?)

Busse BM or SH (not sure which yet)

Some kind of Tactical hawk (not sure what kind yet...like RMJ Eagle Talon, but they're impossible to find)
 
looking into smaller tac FBs, probably a couple Nealys, Kwaito and PTK, alomg with some cheapies like Timberline mini Pitbull and CS Spike

folders, always waiting on new BMs, 420 and possibly 670
 
I tried to purchase a BK7 twice this year. One online retailer jerked me around for a month so I cancelled. :grumpy: The second retailer told me they were on backorder two weeks after I made the order. :confused: I will definitely have one before the year is up.

I think I am going to take the plunge and try and buy a Dozier by years end. :cool:

If I love the Military more then the Calypso, but the Military is too big I'll end up with a Para. But I think the Military might be part of the EDC.

Be careful Kev. Once you start with the customs they begin to call your name right from the makers table. You may never make it to your sophomore year working two jobs to pay for knives.

This sounds erily true. :( The thing is, I find them calling my name now! Everytime I look at a Dozier on his sight, or the exchange I think "Damn, I NEED one of them.." :o

And now its 2:08AM and if I don't fall asleep soon I might not make tommorow, let alone my first day of college. ;)

i want a surefire alpha folder, and a OTF (out the front) auto, ie MT makora/etc. just 2 but these 2 are about $600,

Ordered a BM 220 to yesterday...
May try a Strider SnG, and maybe spares of my EDC knives (Paramilitary/Vnox Hiker) , while getting rid of some others. I'll probably try trading into those.
That's about it. Already have more knives than I know what to do with.
 
I've got a Benchmade 43 on the way.
Need a Spyderfly.
Need a fully serrated knife of some sort, probably the FRN Endura.
Perhaps a Victorinox Cybertool.

After that, I'm good. Seriously. There's plenty of knives I'd "like" to have, but none that I'm dying to have.

To be honest (and why not?) I just purchased my first knives since childhood (oh...long enough ago that I don't want to think back) a few weeks back. Bought on a whim because they looked/felt good: Benchmade Activator (loved the carbon fiber scales), Spyderco Calypso Jr. (liked the blade and the size for everyday use), and Queen 41L (matched for a gift to my brother). Already my pocketbook is afraid...very afraid.

But to the question:
