What knives live in your car or truck?

Hmmm... good question:

console: SAK Spartan, sometimes a larger carry knife like a Spyderco Para

toolbox: Kabar Dozier

under seat: BK-9 in sheath

backpack: Buck 110 and SAK Camper. The backpack always rides with me.

I have a SOG Power-lock multi-tool, or whatever, in my truck. That's about it. When I was younger I used to keep a United Cutlery Sepentine Bowie, or something, with a big 11" recuved bowie style blade. I'd probably have to try and knock someone out with it since it wasn't very sharp. That was back in the day before I knew anything about sharpening.

Now, if I got pulled over and the police searched my truck and found that under the seat, would I have been in trouble in PA? :)

Case large CV stockman, honeybone handles
Victorinox Champion Plus (got it cheap at Amazon.com!)
BK&T BK7 w/ a an SAK Yeoman in its pocket

Leatherman Wave and a Trident TC-01 are always in the center console of my truck next to my Glock 35. Only exception is when I'm hunting/camping/outdoors stuff when I carry the Trident on my belt.

Leatherman Juice in the drivers side door pocket, Leatherman Wave in the center console, Cold Steel Bushman behind the seat, Cold Steel kukri machete in the cargo area.

Leatherman! LEO friendly in the glove compartment if ever stopped! And pretty handy if you get stuck someplace and need a tool. The pliers and screwdrivers are very useful.

My department does random vehicle searches and they confiscated my Buck 110 from the glove box, but they left my Leatherman wave alone. By process of elimination the wave lives in my truck.

Leatherman Wave-Console
Leatherman Squirt (had it on my keychain, but got tired of taking it off to go into Court so it went into the truck by default). console
Cold Steel Bushman- BOB behind my seat.
junky folder,- BOB
Kabar-Dozier, clipped to sun shade.

I also had my HI WWII khukuri behind the seat, but it rusted on me:mad: I didn't oil it, so I took it out to refinish.

Interesting. Tell us more about what kind of place you work in. And welcome to the forums.

in my truck I have a standard Leatherman tool, and a Himalayan Imports 17" Khukuri.

In my wifes car is simply a BK 10 Crewman.

Well, the department I work in is "of Defense" and I was not about to argue and attract the attention of the men with the dark sunglasses and shotguns.

I see. I hope you can get your Buck back. It really is "stealing" when an item is confiscated and not returned at a later date.:grumpy:
