I snagged a couple of things this year that I'm REALLY proud of...and a couple of pieces of stag for some upcoming projects. No ivory this year since we got there a day late, but I guess that's the way the ball bounces. No worries here though, the other stuff more than makes up for it

It was a pleasure visiting with Scott at the show. I really like his work. Look forward to trying out these McGhee kitchen knives in O1 during grilling season. (image is from Scott's website)

I got two sets of killer black lip pearl from Culpepper/Mothjer of Pearl Company. This was a priority.
Two knives shot by Coop....also a priority.
Three nice pieces of ivory cutoff from Don Hanson....pleasant surprise!
Two knives, a Neill Shutte Dixon fighter, and a 3 blade sowbelly from Enrique Pena. The Dixon is shown in Coop's thread, and the Pena has not been shot yet.
I got a packet of smoked Alaska sea salt that will be used with pride, and appreciation from David Mirabile
Coop gave me an antique stopwatch as a gift.....it stopped me in my tracks with appreciation.
Got the gift of even going to Blade at the hands of my good friends Thomas Welk and Matt Diskin.
I got it all.

Also posted in another thread are the Lurquin chopper, Don Hanson folder, and Jean-Louis Regel hunter I snagged. Not posted is some really cool titanium screws and folder pivots from Steve Kelly. One small piece of ivory, and a sweet piece of Koa as a gift from our friend Lee. Also very exciting is a knife swap with Raphiel Durand, and collaborations with Gavin Hawk and Erik Markman! Haley also brought home some cool stingray stuff from Adam unlimited, a Damascus necklace by Dave Lisch, and launched the international Ladysmith Facebook group and first collaboration knife.
Yeah, it was a great show...

you and I got plenty in common!
While I didn't buy anything at Blade in particular, which would have been difficult if not impossible since I wasn't there, I have truly BOUGHT IN to Blade and will bust my ass to get to where I can get there.
