What knives you carry at work and why?

Work on a huge farm and have carried a Benchmade Griptilian everyday for the past 5 years or so. Actually the owner and all the employees carry them as well.

i'm not really restricted, but i carry a small seb, or my m4 mini ritter grip. a guy i work with carries a millie though, so i could carry something bigger, but i like smaller knives.

I work at an Electric Power plant as a mechanic so I can carry whatever I want. I have been using my waved Endura 4 for the last couple years.

i work in a bookstore in a shopping mall. i'm not really restricted in what i can or can't carry folder-wise, so long as i keep it in my pocket, but i usually keep it smallish so as not to frighten people. right now it's a large buck vantage pro; my other small carry knife is a mini-griptilian. i always have a case knife in my back left pocket for use around customers 'cuz it's not scary to sheeple. right now it's a blue bone mini copperlock or a lime green texas jack.

in my bag are a leatherman wave and a large cold steel plain edge voyager for those "just in case" moments.

So far I've stuck with the small Sebenze 21.
I'm a woodworker and usually have oodles of razor sharp tools within reach, but most of 'em will ONLY be used on wood.
I only need a small knife at work.
The Seb is a piece of cake to disassemble, clean and reassemble.
This is a nice option for a knife in a dust saturated environment.

I use either my Cyclone or my Blur, generally speaking. They're the two most abusable knives I have, and I don't feel bad about uglying them up a little or performing tasks that they were never designed for. The cyclone used to see tons of use cutting up cardboard boxes, but lately both knives see more use in random prying tasks, cutting zip ties/ flexicuffs, cutting cloth, and cutting rope.

I am in construction so I can carry whatever I want. I carry a leatherman kick with pocketclip in my front right pocket and in the back left I carry a case sodbuster jr.

I'm a physician, and in the state hospital, I shouldn't carry (supposedly) any cutting implement nor a weapon (firearm or other). Well, usually I carry a neck knife (CS Bowie Spike or Bark River Bravo Necker 2), a Leatherman Flair and a Benchmade Pika 2 (besides my Star M 43 Firestar pistol).

I'm the boss and carry what I want. It's ranged from FBs to tactical DAs to big honkin' Striders to custom slipjoints. Now it's mostly a custom slipjoint in the front pocket and a FB in my briefcase along with a SAK in case I need to hand a knife to someone.

I always have a Victorinox something or other on me. Today a Explorer Plus. No explanation needed there. But I always carry something more on the lines of a standard EDC. Today a Leafstorm. Yesterday was a Strider PT. Endura, Buck Vantage, EKI 7a, ZT 0350 and so on and so on. That's just how I have done it for years. Before the Vic's it was LM's. The Skeletool CX is an awesome multi tool!!!

No more carrying of the matching set of pearl-handled machettes?:D:p:D

I work at a hardware store, i can just about carry whatever i want, but nothing too big that will scare the customers.

I normally have a Spyderco Dragonfly on me for cutting down boxes and cutting things open, pretty handy little knife

I am currently working night security. I carry my 3 inch XM-18, Strider PT, and I always have my Todd Begg Tree Frog on me.

I carry my small sebenza at work. With the exception of being outdoors hiking or camping, it's pretty much the only knife that I carry.

I keep a multitool in the desk, and it's come in handy more than once.

TKC....your knives are always so great! I think you have a very well thought out collection. Longtime fan of your carry pieces! :)

As a landscape/grounds manager and general handyman, I have no blade restrictions. I usually carry a Sage1 or 2 clipped in my pocket and a neck knife (Swamp Warden, Izula or bravo necker). I may also carry a skeletool cx or Scrapper5 on occasion as well as a pair of Okatsune hand pruners.

factory worker, I repair racks for a plating line, I carry an izula around my neck, ESEE 4 on the hip and a leatherman wave beside it......

I work in a cube farm for an engineering company.
Work rules limit the blade length to 2" and opened length to 4 1/2".
I have several one-handers that I can carry, but I usually carry a slipjoint instead because the handles are thicker and give more to hang onto.

This Camillus pen knife is often in my pocket at work.

This Case Tiny Wharncliffe Trapper is my other primary companion at work.
