What Kukri is the best chopper?

Man in Black, how large are you and how far do you think you will have to tote said Khukuri before using it?
My M43 at 18" & 34oz is my current carry chopper but if I had to go clear some downed trees I'd grab the 20" Ang Khola at 38oz (it just plain hits harder!). I'm looking for a 15" to 16" CAK or bonecutter with a wide edge bevel in the mid 20oz range to come pare with my Bahadur Knife for hiking.
I'm 5'11" & 200 pounds and have no problems with the larger heavier blades. Practice is key I'd say 70% of chopping is technique and 30% muscle. On the heavier blades gravity does most of the work for you but don't get too large of a blade that you can't control for long sessions. A Khukuri makes a dangerous ballistic object:eek:

I am about 5’8” and around 180lb. How far will I be carrying it? Well, I don’t know. If I need to do chopping at the house or at the cabin, I can use an ax or a chainsaw. So I don’t really need a super heavy chopper. Me and some friends want to get back into hiking and camping more, and that is where the kukri will be used.

How far will I be carrying it? I really can’t say. Me and some friends are planning a 24 mile backpacking camping trip on a local trail in the early spring, and it would be coming on that trip for starters. Last week we went on a short 6 mile hike and I carried my 28oz kukri on my belt, and didn’t feel the weight at all. Of course the temperature was about 50 and a little windy, so I had on a heavy shirt and jacket which I feel masked the weight on the kukri quite a bit.

I guess I would go up to 2lb on the weight. But I want to keep the weight down to maximize my possibilities for carrying it.

I have a 22" CAK that chops like an Axe, and thats no joke! My 18 bonecutter cuts at a VERY acute angle into hardwood, and it chops well at that..I would have to say that for brute strength, the CAK and for superior BITE, the bonecutter.

Up until recently, my Super CAK was hands down the best splitter of logs. BUT, it is heavy as hell and not something I would want hanging on my hip. That being siad it DESTROYS anything wood.
