What Kukri would you take if you were going to war?

I don't know man, some of these Washington apples can be like rocks and definitely leave a mark. Those are actually the best ones. Takes good teeth to bite into one.
Course a real man wouldn't cry being hit by a hard Washington apple. I of course always carry a large hanky to wipe away the tears so hopefully nobody notices.

Tis a fine idea though, none the less.

The Foxies show up on DOTD every once in a while, and can of course be custom ordered. It's not considered a "standard" model though. Having said that, I emailed Auntie directly to see if she had one in stock, and bought this one sight unseen and have never regretted it for a second. And it's a Purna, who just left :(

I would never go to war because I am a peace lovin' brother. I would wait for it to come to me, in which case I would have all my khuks at my disposal!

I was lucky to get one FF from Purna. The FF and Thamar Tin Chirra is my favorites of the ones i bought from HI.

I can only hope my Teardrop Khukri by Lachhu and the other by Anil look half as good. It was my wish before admiring your photo. Certainly hard to even compete with.

Tamang Knife a great weapen

I think Auntie might be the winner here. I agree the Tamang would make a fine choice.

I'm glad I got one ahead of the rush. They feel real good in hand. I haven't done anything meaningful with it yet but maybe I'll get to that this weekend, unless yall permit me to take the rest of the day off. It's sunny and nice outside.
I could go test it as a public service.......................??????

i think auntie will now have a run on tamangs - looks great to me too.

I'll admit, the Tamang hadn't really been on my radar, but now I may have to get one just to see its value as a fighter. That reminds me, a long time ago I promised to post my review of the Hasiya as a fighting blade. Haven't even written it yet.

Yes, I know it's a M43 since that was posted soon after this was originally posted. I'm curious about its dimensions and weight.

I don't know about that particular M43, but they typically run from 15" to 18" overall length, and from 24oz to 38oz.

I'll be unconventional once again in regards to Khukris only. I would choose a large Hanshee style for their obvious attributes. Narrow the field with more parameters and my choice might change, perhaps not. 24" and 45 ounces is hard to overcome unless .45 caliber. Yes we can nit pick but, you have the idea.
