I like my INFI like I like my women... NEKKID!

You never really know what your gonna get until you get em that way. Sometimes it is a pleasant surprise... pure smooth goodness. Other times, you find nothing but dimples under the coat.

This one turned out to be a beauty, a bit darker than expected, but very nice.

Check her out...

It's very cool how the blade turned out... almost like it is parkerized or something... but without the resistance of the coating when slicing. I guess I could polish it up, but I think it looks cooler this way.

Hope you guys enjoy the pics...

I wonder why it is still so dark underneath? Think Busse has a new coating process or something? Interesting...but looks good, KD.

Thanks for the kind words guys...

The coating is a mystery to me. My SAR 5 had the same dark coating under the crinkle-coat.

I wonder if It has something to do with the "decarb" we keep hearing about on the comp models? Older models I've stripped, like my Meaner, did not have the dark blade coating... so it must be something fairly new.

Perhaps it is to make the coating more durable or make it stick better to the blade?

Nice nekkid INFI!!!

glad to see there are no infi dimples on this one... looks great!

I think you're right about that.

.

Now that's a knife right there. Great job. My AK was/is dark underneath the coating. Same results after i stripped it.

my NMFBM is the same way underneath where the coating is wearing off of the sweet spot.

i've been wondering for a while what the deal is with this other black coating.is it a primer of some sort??

I know she was no virgin, coming from you... but I hope it is not too traumatic for you to see these nekkid pictures of your ex. ;):D

Thanks again for the smooth deal!

lol
i was thinking about stripping it a while ago, but was concerned after seeing some other recent convex Busses that turned out to be butt ugly naked

Looks great!

Does anyone know for sure what the Black undercoat is ?

This is the first pic here I've seen of one with it.

If anyone at Busse knows please let us know.
