I realy want to see a compression lock I don't realy know why but I'd realy like to see this lock on more models than just the Para-Military.

Same here - it would be cool to see a Sage with the compression lock and digi-camo G10 scales.

i still think that an emerson themed sage with the wave and g10 handles with a ti liner lock would be awesome

Check out the Superleaf. I don't have one, but I have the very similar Superhawk and it's a pretty sweet knife that also uses the compression lock. You might still be able to find an "S" kicking around somewhere.

I think it'd be cool to see a stag or stag-inlay handle with a slip-joint like the UKPK. That would appeal to all sorts people, I think.

Axis lock! It's the ambi-friendly lock I've ever used, and the ones on my Benchmades lock up like the gates of hell. I don't see HOW it could possibly fail once engaged without breaking out the top of the grip, or shearing the pivot pin.

... Well, now THERE is my next project. I wonder about a Spydermade Gripstretchian...

I doubt we will ever see an compression lock on a Sage. The Sage line is meant to pay tribute to innovators in the knife world, and although Sal is one of the best and most innovative, he doesn't seem like one who would toot his own horn with a tribute to a lock that he invented.

I'd love to hear Sal's thoughts on a compression lock Sage. I hear a lot of folks talk about his humility (and I don't doubt that - from his posts, he seems like a very stand-up guy who doesn't particularly like to toot his own horn), but does that have to prevent a knife that a lot of folks want to see? If this poll is indicative of a sample-audience of the knife-buying crowd, I'd say he'll have no problems selling them.
