I was just playing with my small sebenza 21 and thought this feels like the mercedes-benz of the knife world... eventhough I only have ten knives :p

What make car would you knife/s compare to?

Thanks for all the info here it great fun:thumbup:

I guess mine would probably be a Toyota Corolla. It's relatively inexpensive, requires a little maintenance now and again, and does what it's supposed to do without extra junk.

compare to a Volkswagon Jetta . Not too large ,but enough,it looks good and Feels like it should be more expensive than it is ,and can expect to get a lot of mileage on it.

My woods knife is a RC-4 = Jeep (Rugged and reliable)
my EDC is a Spyderco Salt SE = honda civic luxury serious (if they are real) Because its a tough knife that goes quite a long way and never has any issues.

I have skirmish that is a little reminiscent of a porsche cayenne. Yeah it a SUV but it is still extra sexy.

I've been EDCing my new large Sebenza 21, and the blue accents are pretty close to my Subaru STi's color, that and they both do exactly what they were designed to.

spyderco millie, in digi camo, BMW M3 maybe?
CRKT m16-13sf, I dont know, what do you think?

Ive got old beatup Chevy pickups through minty fresh Ferrarris, and everything in the middle.

My Busse is a Hummer :D

Big gas guzzling and break down every few weeks? Probably not.

Unless you're talking about a REAL Hum-Vee. The type that Lamborgini used to make?

My knives are probably like the Skoda Octavia, cheap, well built, functional and look like they cost more than they do.

Fallkniven S1: Saab Aero

RC 4: Ford Mustang GT 350 with an unlimited warranty!!!

Buck 110: Chevy pick up

my custom emerson specwar CQC13 is a corvette imho.

my spyderco Ti ATR is a hummer 2 and my mad dog SEAL ATAK is a full size hummer lol.

An H2 is just a GMC/Chevrolet truck chassis and powertrain, with a dumbazz Hummer shaped box on it, the powertrain is excellent. Extremely reliable, and doesn't break down every few weeks... so you're wrong.:thumbdn: I guarantee it.;)

Mack trucks come to mind when I think of my collection, I like brutes.:D

Interesting since I have family that drive one and they do nothing but complain about the thing.

Fallkniven U2 = Saab 900. Each is mostly utilitarian, well-crafted, somewhat stylish (in a utilitarian way), and are made by fair-skinned foreigners.

If I'm using a traditional slippjoint It reminds me of my '48 Pontiac.

I work at a GM dealership as a technician, I know a little bit about them.;) If properly maintained they are essentially bulletproof. Stuff may break, but they rarely break down. Maybe there is an ongoing problem with your families Hummer that hasn't been properly addressed, I don't know. Best of luck LX Emergency.

After ten years of working on GM's I can say a lot of bad things about them, but not having reliable powertrains isn't one of them.

Sorry to derail this thread psarou, and welcome to Bladeforums.:D

Not much of a car enthusiast, but I guess I would say my Spec Bump would be a Chevy Corvette; Fast, sexy, but still a good day to day user.
