What makes a machete a machete

I woke up the other day and had 3 emails in my inbox. Apprantly I decided I needed 6 more machetes. I blame this thread :). Got some short 12 inch ontarios for like ten bucks. The long one and a thick short one came in, fixed up the edges with a lansky puck, really like that thing. The short thick sawback looks interesting. Got 3 thin cheap ones coming too. The large Ontario feels like a brick compared to the condor.

I'm in the " If it's cheap and disposible, it's a machete" camp

It depends on what the user is wearing...

Tactical Balaclava = long knife

Fake Hockey Mask = machete
