What Makes This Seb So Special?

What a great gift, hugs back. Another special moment was when I handed my old UG that Chris did the graphic on to him. He remember it, and even had a wistful look in his eyes as he held it. He even told me that he'd ground the blade on that one himself.

Your more than welcome anytime....!!! What's funny is I was going to buy that sebenza awhile back and it was on hold, for one reason or another, I did not get it....!!! Was just the CRK funds thing....! I am so glad that special CRK arrived in such great and appreciated hands.

I'm so sorry about your loss LW.

Amazing story about your new knife and the special one ground by Chris Reeve himself.

Sorry for your loss Lone Wolf.

It's always special when you meet someone you respect and admire.

That is so cool, I kinda regret selling it now - as I'm sure Lisa does after me. That said, I couldn't ask for a more satisfying end to the story than for that special knife to wind up in the hands of someone like yourself who truly treasures it.

and I'm deeply saddened for your loss, Wolfe. My prayers are with you lady.

Thanks, my friends. Yeah, is hurts and I miss him every day. But I was nice to meet Chris, Anne and the rest that were there. How I wish Lisa could have been there, I'd love to talk to her about her work someday. But the folks I met were as nice to me as could be. When they were leaving the show Anne saw me over by the railing and made sure to come over and say goodbye, she's a lot of fun.

I think you sold it because it wanted to come to Momma to live, and it's very treasured. If I have to sell them all off in the future, that one stays. I used in in Afghanistan, it's traveled quite a bit with me. It has a feel to it that none of my others can match. I can't explain it, but to me it's real. Chris loved the history that one's gotten.

Thank you, my friend. It just happens his family is going up to Elleber Knob in a couple days to scatter his ashes as he wanted. I'm in ATL airport right now waiting for my next flight, I'm going to be there with them. Flying HURTS because of an injury a few years ago, but I wouldn't not be there.

Sincere condolences on your loss Ms. Wolfe. Your personal strength will always prevail and will, as a positive side-effect, provide inspiration to others.

I dig the graphic on your new blade and it's super special that you were able to get Mr. Reeve to sign the box.

You certainly have some special memories. I'm happy for you, and hope "things" are progressing nicely for you these days.
Wonderful pics; thanks for sharing those with us.

Cool knife, great pics, awesome story. That little white box never looked so good!

Thanks, my friends. I've been AFK for the most part this week because I flew up to West Virginia to be with his family as we spread my sweetheart's ashes in his favorite hunting ground. While I was at the airport between flights on my way back I got a call that I knew was coming, but dreaded. A longtime friend on mine lost her battle with ALS. She's not suffering anymore, but now us she left behind are. :(

That's a great score, a very nice knife paired with a great memory. Congrats to you on the purchase and having the wherewithal to get the signatures.
I had the fortune of going to Blade last year with my buddy Blackend, it was my first time there and I really enjoyed speaking with Ann and meeting Chris, I hope to go again sometime.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss but rest assured, as a man who's traveled 9 hours each way to hunt in WV for the last dozen years, he's going to be in heaven in more ways than one while overlooking his favorite spot.
I lost my Father last month and if he hadn't have changed his mind near the end he'd have been enjoying an eternal hunting season in WV too.

God Bless You.
