What metal bandsaw blades do you guys like?

Just picked up a new bandsaw (see other thread), and I was shopping around for some 93x1/2 blades for it. Seems like there's a pretty good selections of brands out there for anywhere from $20 to $80 or more per blade.

Just wondering what you guys have experience with, and if there are any brands you prefer over another. Also, is variable pitch something to look for, or does it really matter? Any other tips and tricks you might have for somebody who's never had a horizontal saw before, are more than welcome.

Good Bi metal blades like Lenox..We get ours from toolcenter.

Been running the same blade I put on a year ago, up until about a week ago and then changed it
Lenox Diemaster. BandSaw Blades Direct.

Lenox Diemaster 2 here also. Good blade life with the proper break-in.

Die master is where its at. I also use bandsaw blades direct. They have never let me down.

Lennox....18tpi - left, straight, right. I get these for 20 bucks apiece, for the 5 foot 4 inch blades.

Lenox with a tooth count that will give you 3-4 teeth across the thickness of what you're cutting.

This is important. Not enough teeth in the material is bad for your blade. A lot of people use a 12-14 this for an all around blade.
