What model is this??

This balisong resembles the BM model#30. It has a utility blade with the BM trade mark. On the other side of the blade is "U.S. PAT NO 4,364,174 MADE IN USA."

On one of the handles is an engraving of "JACK BYERS". This might just be the original owners name... I don't know.
Somebody tell me what I have.

That would be a PC model 10 (BM used to be Pacific Cutlery): exactly like a 30 but with a utility blade instead of a weehawk.

I have no idea about the inscription on the handle though.

Thanks Balisongman. Does anyone know about the engraving? Is it possibly a maker or just the original owners name?
