I found this in one of my boxes and I remember getting it from A.G. Russell quite a few years ago but don't remember what it was called. A.G. stated it was a knife SOG made exclusively for his knife business. It's a tank of a small folder with double stainless liners, (in fact it's all stainless throughout except of course for the scales), and is really solidly and quality built. It's a smaller gent's knife and the blade is 2 1/2", (actual using edge), 3 1/2" closed and 6 3/8" overall. Is this this an original small "Tomcat"? Any help will be appreciated because I'm probably going to sell it and want to know something about it. So sorry for the lousy scan but it's all I can do right now.

Hi Gene, That is a Stingray. It is like a mini Tomcat. A very nice and solid knife. It was discontinued last year so I would hold on to it as it will be very hard to find another now.

Ah, yes! Stingray! That's it. Thanks so much for the info Chris. I really appreciate it!

At this rate, you guys really don't NEED me here at all... :D

I forgot to ask you gent's in the know. Is the steel of this Stingray AUS-6 or AUS-8?

That's what I thought but wanted to confirm. AUS-6 is okay by me. Thanks Bobby!
