What model is this?

This is listed as a 191, but since that number is for a "zipper" I believe that it's incorrect. Can anyone identify this knife?

it is a DU issue of a Marples style skinner
it is a Very Highly regarded design...
the orgional shape i believe was made by Marples Knife cutlery?

Thanks Dave, it looks very similar to this one. Did Buck assign a model number to it?

Hi Dave,

The model number for this Buck knife is 914. These have been issued in a few variations. Cableas special issue was one with a stacked leather handle.

The photo is one of the cableas issue with the handle changed to stag

Thanks jb, that's a beauty. the one I'm looking at comes with a DU sheath, but it's stamped 191. Since the knife itself isn't stamped with a model number, I assume that's why the seller thinks it's a 191.
