Great minds Mitch Went with my Free P2 today, just installed the red anodized aluminum thumstud and makes a noticeable difference.

Thanks Mitch, there's nothing wrong with the original design, in fact I'll argue a cleaner cut can be had without it if your cutting through an item from back to the tip of the blade. It was cheap(ish) and available in several colors. I ordered the bit holder for 1/4 bits from the same seller that slips over the Phillip's driver (I like it).

I'll snap a side view pic tomorrow as well as a backside picture.

Very nice Mitch, I have the Spirit X but like the clip and thumbstud option for the blade on that version. Fit and finish is excellent. I just rec'd these black canvas micarta scales and installed them on a duplicate orange G10 Charge+ I have.

I like that, although I do like the orange scales too.
