It might be a Brit thing? Anyway I'm about to take my Charge AL apart and return it from as seen in the pic to factory spec. Decided to try and be normal for a bit.

To be honest I kinda prefer my mod. The scissors are bigger and more handy, I really like having a phillips and hex to hand and I've never used the eye glass tool. We'll see how it goes.

Using the charge,daughters getting a new bed so had to take the old 1 down. The hook/strap cutter blade came in handy for tape.

Charge again. Putting out my old BBQ for council pick up. Had custom larger wheels and castors, had to take them off for Dad.
Pliers work great on cotter pins and stuborn washers.

Spent the morning cleaning and detailing the car, so kick pliers came in very handy to get the junk out my lovely children leave behind

Thanks guys. I feel like it is the next step in the evolution of the MT. The design advancement and execution really shows Leatherman is still at the top of their game. Now, the retail price point is going to keep them out of a lot of people's hands. That said, if you look around you can find them for a very reasonable price.

I still like my Wave but the Free P2 looks really nice. The only thing that might be a drawback with the magnetics is the metal file and shavings but it is a minor quibble. Looks really good though!

That is true.

I really do wish the P2 had a plain edge blade, hopefully replacements will be available in the future. If you use the pocket clip on the wave, you'll notice the one on the Free P2 sticks out a bunch more. The scissors on the P2 are miles better than on the Wave!

The scissors do look better, that alone might be enough for me to give the Free a try, I just wish it was FREE! Leatherman and their false advertising LOL JK.
