What multitool or SAK did you buy today

I currently have a black Adventurer in the mail to replace a Centurion that went MIA last summer. It should arrive today. I suspect the yard rat from down the street helped himself to it last summer. I also have a transparent blue Huntsman and a couple of classics in the mail that should be here Friday.

Stopped by the local knife shop to see what was new. Picked up a 2025 Buck 303 that I had been hoping to get, but that's for another forum. There was a big pile of knife boxes on one of the counters -- turns out a local bait and tackle shop that also sold knives had changed hands and the new owner didn't want to continue selling knives, so Pat bought out his stock. All kinds of not very fancy or expensive stuff including quite a few Chinese Bucks. There were also some Leatherman boxes, mostly Juice C2 models. Wasn't familiar with that model (or Leathermans in general) but for the price I had to pick one up. Should be a handy little backup tool, and since none of my SAKs have a corkscrew this should be useful for all those knots I'm always struggling to untie!

Thinking about picking up a SOG Powerpint..

Any opinions good or bad?

I already own a Swisstool X, so this would be in addition to the Victorinox.

Amazon tripped me up.. the Powerpint randomly fell into my Amazon cart.. I don't know how it showed up on my orders.
(Honestly,Mom.) Just FYI, I'm 42.

The ultimate minimalist SAK. One blade and nothing else, I saw it and had to have one. Now that I have it I'm thinking it's the ultimate antithesis of what I've come to expect from my SAK, that being useful. Obviously I can cut stuff with it but I'm used to carrying a SAK in addition to a one handed folder so I use th eSAK more for tools than anything else. This will require some thought. Fit, Finish is typical Fabulous.

Found this RangerGrip 79 on Marketplace today. This seems like the perfect camping knife. I like the one handed opening for the main blade. I tried out the saw on a piece of 2x2 and it cut through it as well as my bow saw. It’s only been an hour, but I’m super happy with this knife.

I purchased the new Vic Synergy X in red as those just dropped from a purveyor I use often, and am eyeing up the 2025 Winter Magic (a Climber with nice wood scales) that's coming. I collect the Christmas knives, so I'm a lock for that one.

Thinking about possibly picking up a Swisschamp.

I already have a Swisstool X, what are the differences between the two of them?

Oh boy. They are quite different, given that the SwissTool is more of the Multi-Tool form factor, so you can get a pocket clip for it, or carry it in its included belt pouch. The SwissChamp is a Swiss Army Knife that carries very fat in the pocket, but has a variety of tools, to include several that the SwissTool doesn't come with. I would say that the SwissTool is probably a heavier use design, whereas the SwissChamp is good to have in your pocket on a day to day, small projects around the house sort of deal. I won't pretend that the little plyers on the SwissChamp are in the same league as those on the SwissTool, because they aren't. However, both will be useful tools in their own way, and candidly, everyone should have at least one SwissChamp in their collection!

Source: I also have a SwissTool X, and many, many SwissChamps. :D

Ill let ya know. The only thing that locks is the blade and comes with a clip, not to mention a lighter carry weighing about 1 ounce less than a wave+

You DO hit on one important thing about the Wave Alphas: no pocket clip or belt pouch in the box, to my understanding. I know that will be a turnoff for some. I ordered a cool aftermarket clip for mine, so they should both be arriving hopefully soon.

I bought and easy release clip that fits the wave +, alpha and other models but I onoy ordered one. They don't include sheaths anymore and these tools are too heavy to just throw in a pocket so that's one reason why I chose the curl and why I bought the clip so I can carry the alpha and wave interchangeably

Free K2x, T4, and K4x... I told myself I couldn't afford leatherman Arc, but I went ahead and spent more than what I would have paid for it- how's that for logic?🤔😬
