What muscles are used in archery?

Offhand I would say the primary agonists of the drawing arm to be rhomboids, middle traps, post deltoid and lats. Saying that the interaction of muscle force couples will be much affected by antagonists and synergists. So a primary regimen that replicates the drawing action combined w/ secondary exercises which strengthen the shoulder girdle in general should do the trick. Core/trunk dynamic stabilization exercises will also help as they do w/ most atheletics.
