What my new Strider just taught me...

I too like the Bradley. One of only a couple of knives I got an extra of. Everything about it suits me.

As far as the Strider goes that Z wear really shines. It's powder steel, extremely clean Cruwear. Great stuff!

The Gayle Bradley is one of my all-time favorites. Fit and finish is amazing and it cuts like a beast! It's a fantastic knife, especially for what it costs.

At one-third the price, the GB is a much better knife, in my experience, than any of the three late-model Striders I owned. YMMV.

My two SnGs had lockup so severe I thought I would lose a thumbnail. My beautiful SJ-75 Baby Huey had a lock that needed constant adjustment.

No more.

I replaced my Striders with the SuperLeaf. Love the Strider-like look of the blade. Now, when I want to scratch my Strider itch, I have a folder with a worry-free lock.

Just imagine if the SuperLeaf had the same top drawer f&f as the GB -- now that would be some serious competition.

I have a brand new z wear SnG and this thing is flawless. It is silky smooth, sharp as hell, has amazing f and f, and is rock solid. I love this knife. It also caused me to rediscover my love of the Gayle Bradley. I have handled Sebbies, Striders, and customs and the GB is smoother than anything I have touched. The blade is dead center and there is absolutely no play. I feel more confident in the GB than I do any other knife I own. If you want midtech-custom level crafting for a production price, this puppy offers that.

Same story for me. bought a Strider and realized how good was my Spyderco Calypso jr. Sold the Strider and bought four Calypso jr. since it was a discontinued model.

I just got my first Strider last week, and carried it every day... Until yesterday that is. My new favorite is the Vallotton Sub-hilt!
I would imagine the fit/finish is very similar to that of the Gayle Bradley- in other words, perfect.
